R. L. Stine is the creator and author of the Goosebumps series of short stories for kids. From 1992 through 1997, Scholastic produced 62 novels in the series under the general name Goosebumps.

“Welcome to Dead House,” the first novel, was released in July 1992. More than 400 million copies of the series have been sold, making it the best-selling series of all time for a number of years.

The books were made into a movie, which debuted on October 16, 2015. Beginning in September 2023, a new book series titled “Goosebumps House of Shivers” that takes place after Slappyworld will debut.

Goosebumps HorrorLand series
